One of the best comfort food recipes in my opinion is French – and as winter approaches and the nights draw in, and there is a definite nip in the air, how wonderful to be sat at the kitchen table with family and friends, and a big pot of Boeuf Bourguignon……hearty and meaty, with seasonal vegetables and wine, it’s the perfect cold weather dish. And now, thanks to Forman and Field and Knorr, I have a seasonal box to giveaway – all you need to make a big pot of  Boeuf Bourguignon, and all in a Box. I am lucky enough to be joining the seasonal box campaign, delivered by Forman and Field, and containing lovely fresh ingredients for recipes created by Knorr and the legendary Marco Pierre White. • 200g pearl onions
• unsmoked bacon

    So many to choose from, I love stews and casseroles. Usually my favourite is the one I am eating at the time! I enjoyed a ‘Lancashire Hotpot’ last week. I also love ‘Coq au Vin’ and ‘Chicken Chausseur’. Beef Bourguingnon in a box sounds absolutely delicious. What a great prize. :)

  50. My favourite winter comfort dish is mince and dumplings :D you can’t beat a good dumpling soaked in delicious beef gravy with savoury mince! Also helps if there’s an extra dollop of mash to go with it :)
