    ref woolton pie – I notice you used rolled oats and not oatmeal as stated in the original recipe – was there any reason for this can you tell me??

      There was a reason yes, I had no medium oatmeal left, (pinhead oatmeal) as I used it up over the weekend when I made a Yorkshire Parkin! The rolled oats were just as good, and they swelled right up to make a nice thick filling and gravy. Karen
