Merguez Sausage Sandwich in Baguette with Mustard |
The sun was beating down but we managed to get a sheltered spot by the back of the “buffet” and there was a cool breeze to help mop our fevered brows! After our snack lunch, we went on our merry way again The brocante was HUGE, stall after stall of amazing bric-a-brac, vintage items as well as expensive antiques, a veritable treasure trove of “tat” and “Kitsch”! I saw some lovely tin ware, cake and brioche tins as well as jelly moulds, and at only €4 a bundle (3 items in each bundle) I bought several bundles! I LOVE vintage kitchenalia and use it a lot in my food styling and photographs.

Anyway, it is aperitif time, and then dinner time, so I am away to rattle the ice bucket, liberate the liquor and to start prepping dinner; I will be back later with photos, tasting notes and recipes……………..a bientôt!
