Edith made every type of fruit pie you can imagine and Bob would make a two hour round trip to Skipton just to buy his favourite pork pies!

My favourite tea time treat, to fill the bag, would be a range of home made crumbly, buttery shortbreads with added flavours such as stem ginger, nuts or chocolate nibs.

It would have to be Thorntons millionaire shortbread squares, I absolutely adore them, they are the nearest to homemade you can get.

I’d buy puff pastry and currants and take them home in this adorable shopping tote so I could make Banbury Cakes!
