Doreen the Cow comes for Tea at Lavender and Lovage
I’m all in a flutter, like a packet of butter, as Doreen has come for tea!
I have made cakes and buns and have served her a cuppa,
Cos’ I know she likes a good brew.
We have a good gossip, a chat and a natter,
And we laugh at all of her Moos!
She stays for a while before saying her goodbyes
and then moo-ves on to my friend’s.
Thank you Doreen for my Butter-Ful Booty and Loot! It arrived JUST in time for Pancake Day and a Flippin’ Good time!
Doreen kindly sent me some commemorative items from their celebration range to mark 125 years of Anchor butter. I was lucky enough to receive a two tier cake stand, a butter dish, two egg cups, a vintage car, a cake tin, a tea towel and an apron, as well as personal card from Doreen!

Aww, well isnt this fun? Doreen looks very regal and dignified 🙂 we dont have cows like that here in the US! 😉 Happy Shrove Tuesday, Karen! Your pancakes look absolutely delicious! Will you be racing while making yours? hehe…

I just adore cows – I had so much fun when the cow parade came to Edinburgh and have a Japanese cow statue. These are just lovely and just up my street!
The tea towels are lovely and the egg cups cute.
