The Brilliance in Blogging Awards 2012
It has taken me some time to post this, but a chat with a good friend today helped me to make the decision. I had this post all ready to publish last week, when I heard that I had been short-listed for a BIB’s Award in the category of Tasty – for blogging about food, recipes and anything tasty from the kitchen. I was one of many blogs who were nominated and thanks to you, I made it to the final list of 20 blogs on that coveted short-list. What I wanted to say then, as I do now, is a really BIG THANK YOU to ALL of you who voted for and nominated me……….I am truly overwhelmed and extremely excited.
What does this award mean to me? Well, if I was lucky enough to win, it would be a fabulous privilege to be seen as one of the best in food blogging, it would mean, hopefully, that I have engaged with hundreds of people who like what I write and enjoy the recipes I develop and share on my blog; on a more personal note, it would be recognition of all that I have achieved in such a short time, and hopefully a sign that I have shared ideas, photos, food, ingredients and recipes that have delighted and titillated the taste buds! It would in short be an honour and an exciting step to the next level that I hope to achieve in food writing and blogging.
