Meal Planning Monday for my
Birthday Week
– 30th April 2012 –
Crumpets, Scones and British Berries!
I cannot believe I am meal planning on Monday again, but I am as last week’s plan worked really well, with just a couple of glitches, insofar as I changed a couple of days around, but still cooked the same meals albeit on different days……so, I feel very virtuous and a bit of a meal planning diva right now! With a BIG thanks to the lovely Mrs M, over at At Home with Mrs M, whose brilliant idea this meal planning malarkey is! I may not be as good this week though, as I have only just got back from the shops and I am still plotting and planning my meals, but I can start off with today, as half of it is over and I CAN just about remember what I made and ate, and then the rest will just follow on……..according to what is in the fridge and freezer! Berries will feature heavily in my meal plan this week, as I have just started a BRILLIANT event in conjunction with British Berries and Breast Cancer Care, do take a look at my amazing Giveaway, as well as some special recipes that I have posted for the event here…….Win Five Prizes and Support British Berries and Breast Cancer Care. And, as berries will be featuring heavily, so will scones, as I LOVE scones with fresh strawberries and cream, and as it is my birthday on the 5th May, I will be treating myself to a cream tea sometime this week! So here with a flurry of ripe red raspberries and lush fresh strawberries, is my Birthday Week Meal Plan! Enjoy, Karen.

What is your favourite breakfast recipe?
Do you ever make menu plans and do you keep to them?
Your menu looks amazing! Especially loving all the soups (wild garlic, lemon and lovage – mmm), but ogling up the baked goodies with a jealous eye 😀 Jumble Berry Crumble sounds incredibly delicious, and so pretty too. You are a force of nature with your tight cooking and blogging schedule. Full of admiration, Karen!
Aw thank you Kellie! I have been busier than usual lately…..plan to chill out later on in the week! 🙂
Oh! Forgot to say, Happy Birthday for the 5th. Hope you are going out!
I am a Fiesta Babe Kellie! Cinco de Mayo!
Lovely meal plan. Going to try the crumpet recipe as I just bought rings.
Have a wonderful birthday!
THANKS so much Linda! I am hoping that I won’t be cooking on Saturday!
