Meal Planning Monday……
Cornish Pasties, Fish, Goat’s Cheese and Salads!
It’s Monday again, how did that happen? I mean where did the week go? One minute it was Monday and I was hosting a Jubilee BBQ and now it’s a week later! So, here I am again with my meal plan on Monday, and with thanks as always to Mrs M who hosts this weekly event over at her blog, which is called At Home with Mrs M. This week is a little flexible, as I am travelling to see my sister on Tuesday for the week, but I WILL be cooking there too, so I have a few ideas in mind for the week’s menu! This week is all about Cornish Pasties, Fish, Goat’s Cheese and Salads……and there will be a few meals out, BBQ’s and picnics planned no doubt too. Some of the recipes are dependent on the weather, such as the picnic and BBQ ideas…..but, if necessary, we can always have a picnic at the kitchen table, as I used to do when my daughter was little…..and the BBQ can be dragged into the garage too……I won’t let the weather beat me! Lunch: Soup and home-made bread
Tea: Grilled Fish with new potatoes and grilled tomatoes
Breakfast: On route, so probably sandwiches!
Lunch: Cornish Pasties (recipe to follow)
Tea: Salad with Goat’s Cheese, Fruit and Nuts (Capricorn Challenge recipe to follow)
Breakfast: Yoghurt and Blueberries
Supper: Raclette Party – photos and recipe to follow
Breakfast: Simple Mushrooms and Tomatoes on Toast
Lunch: Picnic in the meadow
Tea: Meal out at the local pub!
Breakfast: Crumpets and Cheese
Lunch: Seasonal salad with home-made bread
Tea: Fish on Friday – Fish on the BBQ hopefully!
