Meal Planning Monday with Cake, Berries,
Dorset Blue Vinny and Ploughman’s Lunches!
Here we are with another Monday Meal Plan – and as usual, I am already half way through Monday before I post it……sorry! Last week’s meal plan was a great success and apart from one day, I managed to stick to it and it proved to be a useful tool to follow and plan my weekly meals. This week has started of SUNNY, and I feel quite buoyant, however, I am not totally giving up on comforting warm meals just yet, although I have slipped a few summery treats into the equation. My soups last week proved to be a great success, as did my Cheat’s Cassoulet too…… which, lasted two days and was perfect for the wintry wet weather we experienced. With thanks so Mrs M and her Meal Planning Monday weekly event, a a great way to share recipes and read other’s meal plans too…..for new ideas and inspiration. MY meal plan this week is a little light for two evenings, as we have been invited out……but, as always, I have listed some breakfast, lunch and dinner/tea ideas, as well as adding a new feature by adding my baking plans for the weekend. It’s all cake, berries, cheese and Ploughman’s lunches, with some fish for Friday of course, and a couple of new vegetarian recipes I have been working on…….meat makes an appearance in my Meat and Tattie Pie, which is part of the latest Best of British culinary our of Britain, and this month I am hosting it, and the county I am promoting is of course YORKSHIRE! You can enter this contest with a chance to win £300 of Amazon vouchers here: Visit the Beautiful and Diverse County of Yorkshire for Great Food and the Best of British. So, here we go again, a new week and a new meal plan…..have a GREAT day and I’ll see you all later, Karen.
