About Matthew Wilson
Matthew Wilson is Managing Director of Clifton Nurseries. He is also a well-respected garden designer, writer, radio and television broadcaster and lecturer. He is a regular panelist on Radio 4’s Gardeners Question Time and presented the Channel 4 series Landscape Man.

      My favourite wreath is the traditional christmas wreath and this would be the one i would choose if i won

      I think the traditional wreath mixing the warmth of cinnamon with the spiky kick of chilli will be delicious and I would certainly want one of those. So much nicer than the usual wreaths comprising of plastic holly, tackly babules and glitter covers everything it touches.

    I think I’d probably go for the Chilli Marmalade one – I’d have to go for something spicy, as I seem unable to cook anything without adding chilli to it lately!

    Oh, these are really different aren’t they? I’d choose the Clifton Kitchen Garden wreath because garlic and chilli are two ingredients we’re never without. They are key to so many dishes you can whip up quickly, like chilli, garlic and lemon spaghetti.

    WOW…..how do you choose just one to be a favourite. If I could only have one, it would be the ‘Spiced Country Christmas Wreath’ today, but tomorrow it could be ‘The White Christmas’ maybe!!!!

    I’d choose the Handmade Edible Christmas Wreath – Christmas Salsa as I love chillies . What a lovely idea to have edible ones I always feel that wreaths are a pretty but pointless but this gives them a function. Clifton nurseries is a fab place to wander around.

    Oh without a doubt I would go for the Xmas spice wreath. But, also just wanted to say would love to come and visit you if you are doing a pop up cafe at Clifton nurseries. It would be a great excuse to pop into town so do keep us posted of dates and I will really try to come along! xxx
