Oh, I love pancakes! Though I can’t quite imagine spreading marmite on them. I’ve seen a pancake bread&butter pudding recipe around the place, which might be a fun thing to try with one of the packets.

I would fill the savory ones with brie and blanched asparagus, roll up and pop in the oven for a few minutes. Serve on a bed of warm puy lentils and chopped roasted beetroot. Finally drizzle butter flavoured with tarragon all over the top. Much simpler than it sounds and a really good veggie supper! 🙂
As I am dutch, I would love this hamper. I love them with dutch sirup ( stroop) or with bacon and sirup. Yummy. In holland it’s tradition to eat pea soup and than pancakes, absolute winter favourite for the dutch

I’d spread the pancakes with Nutella, fold them into quarters and place in a baking dish. Then pour over brandy and melted butter. Before sprinkling with roasted hazelnuts and baking in the oven for 15 minutes. This is amazing served with whipped cream. It’s a family favourite.
