RECIPE:
Spices and herbs have been part of Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. A person is said to be healthy when there is perfect balance between all the three doshas (vata-air, pitta-fire and kapha-water).Apart from enhancing the taste and flavour of food, the spices included in our Mulled Wine mix are widely believed to support the digestion.
Ingredients:
1 bottle of light, fruity red wine,
(Pinot Noir, Grenache, Zinfandel, Gamay)
250ml smooth orange juice
Sugar or sugar syrup to taste
Orange or clementine slices to garnish
Mulled Wine Spice Drops
Preparation:
Place the wine, sugar (or sugar syrup) and juice in a saucepan.
Heat gently on a medium heat.
Just before it comes to the boil, turn off the heat and allow to cool slightly.
Place a teaspoon in a glass and fill with the wine mixture (the teaspoon helps protect the glass from the heat).
Add 1 – 2 drops of Mulled Wine Spice Drops to each glass, stir, add orange slice and serve immediately to amaze your guests!
Directions for use:
1 drop for every 40ml.
For best results use in the final stages of preparation or just before serving.
For drinks add the drop(s) in the container and pour the drink on top.
