Delectable honey basted roast parsnips that are perfect when served with Sunday Roasts and Christmas Dinner.
Ingredients
- 500g parsnips
- 1 tbsp runny honey
- 2 tbsp rapeseed Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Sea salt flakes (such as Malden)

Directions
Step 1 | Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. |
Step 2 | Trim the parsnips, peel them and cut them into quarters lengthwise. |
Step 3 | Par-boil in hot salted water for 5 mins, then drain them. |
Step 4 | Put parsnips in a roasting tray and add the honey, oil and butter, season with sea salt flakes and roast for 40 mins until golden brown and and crunchy, stirring half way through cooking time. |
