- 2 large baking potatoes
- 1 x 130g packet of Macsweens Haggis ("microwave in 60 seconds" haggis)
- coarse sea salt & black pepper
- butter
- salad leaves

Directions
Step 1 | Pre-heat oven to 200C/400F/Gas mark 6 |
Step 2 | Wash the potatoes and then roll them in the coarse sea salt whilst they are still damp. |
Step 3 | Prick the skin all over with a fork and place them on a baking tray - bake in the pre-heated oven for 1 and a quarter hours, or until crisp on the outside and soft to the touch. |
Step 4 | Microwave the haggis slices according to the instructions on the packet. Use meat or vegetarian haggis according to taste and dietary requirements. |
Step 5 | Place the potatoes on a plate and cut them in half; mash the inside flesh a little bit and then add some butter, salt and pepper, before adding the hot haggis. |
Step 6 | Optional extras are baked beans or grated cheese too, which is wonderful with the vegetarian haggis. |
