An easy pan-fried chicken dish made with chicken breasts, cream cheese, lemon, garlic and olive oil. Serve with baked potato and seasonal vegetables.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless and skinless chicken breast fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon, plus zest of 1 lemon to garnish
- 1 x 150g tub of herb and garlic cream cheese, such as Boursin or equivalent
- Salt and pepper to taste
Note
An easy pan-fried chicken dish made with chicken breasts, cream cheese, lemon, garlic and olive oil. Serve with baked potato and seasonal vegetables.
Directions
Step 1 | Heat the olive oil in a large frying or sauté pan and brown the chicken breasts over a high heat on both sides. Remove the chicken and set aside. |
Step 2 | Add the garlic, lemon zest and juice and cream cheese to the pan and cook until well amalgamated. |
Step 3 | Put the chicken breasts back into the pan and simmer over a gentle heat, turning regularly, for between 15 to 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked. |
Step 4 | Serve the chicken and the sauce immediately with seasonal vegetables and a baked potato, or salad. |
