Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower

A spicy coated cauliflower dish that is baked - this makes the perfect accompaniment for any barbecued food such as burgers, sausages or grilled chicken. Can also be served as an appetiser with assorted dips.
Ingredients
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 200g plain flour
- 50g cornflour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 300 mls beer
- 4 tbsp thick hot sauce, such as PiriPiri sauce
Note

Directions
| Step 1 | In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cornflour, baking powder, garlic granules, salt, and pepper. Then add the beer and hot sauce to the mixture and stir until as smooth as possible |
| Step 2 | Add cauliflower in batches to batter. Using a slotted spoon, coat florets and remove, letting excess batter drip off, placing them on baking paper lined baking tray. Repeat until you run out of cauliflower or batter. |
| Step 3 | Dribble a little hot sauce over the cauliflower and bake in a pre-heated oven 220C/450F/gas 7 for 15 to 20 minutes. |
| Step 4 | Serve straight away as an accompaniment with a creamy dipping sauce. |
